This Chrome extension helps you write LinkedIn comments, replies, posts and direct messages with an AI model you choose. It suggests drafts; you review them and send them yourself. This policy explains what data it handles.
The short version
- The extension has no server of its own. We (the developer) never receive your data.
- Text is sent only to the AI provider you choose (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter), using your own API key, and only when you press a Generate button or a scan of your tracked profiles runs.
- Everything the extension keeps is stored in your browser only, and you can delete all of it at any time from Setup → Privacy & data → Clear all data.
What is sent to your AI provider
| When | What is sent |
|---|---|
| Generate comments | The post's text, its author's name and headline, and your role, tone and comment settings |
| Draft a reply | The above, plus the comment you are replying to (its author's name and text) |
| Messages | The conversation on screen: the names and message text of both sides |
| Create a post | Your topic, notes and post settings |
| Scans of tracked profiles | The text and author of each post scanned, and the comments under it when reply suggestions are on |
This includes personal information about other people (names, comments, messages) that is visible to you on LinkedIn. It is sent directly from your browser to the provider over HTTPS. Nothing is sent while you simply browse.
What the provider does with this data is governed by its own terms. Some free tiers allow the provider to use requests to improve its models. Please read your provider's policy:
- Google Gemini: https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms
- OpenAI: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/
- Anthropic: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
- OpenRouter: https://openrouter.ai/privacy
What is stored on your computer
Stored with chrome.storage.local in your browser profile. It is never
synced to other devices, and LinkedIn pages cannot read it.
- Your AI provider, model and API key (the key is sent only to that provider)
- Your roles, tone and comment / post settings, and the Fast/Thorough choice
- The LinkedIn profiles you track (link, name and your note)
- Automation settings (what to suggest, limits, active hours, schedule)
- An activity log of up to 500 entries: post links, authors' names, suggested comments and replies, and the comments they answer
- Which posts were already handled, and today's suggestion counts
- Your progress through the Getting started guide
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking or advertising.
- No selling or sharing of data.
- No data is sent to the developer or any server other than your chosen AI provider.
- The extension never posts, comments, reacts or sends messages on LinkedIn by itself; you always press the final button.
Deleting your data
- Setup → Privacy & data → Clear all data deletes everything listed above.
- Setup → Activity → Clear log deletes the activity log only.
- Uninstalling the extension also removes all of its stored data.
Data already sent to your AI provider is covered by that provider's terms.
