Get a Gemini API key

Create a key in Google AI Studio and connect it to Noivq. You only do this once.

You’ll end up with a key like

Step 1: Open Google AI Studio
Go to aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with your Google account. If it’s your first time, accept the terms. AI Studio then creates a Google Cloud project for you.
Step 2: Create a key
On the API Keys page, press Create API key. If you already use Google Cloud, you may first need to import a project: open Dashboard → Projects → Import projects.
New keys made in AI Studio are limited to the Gemini API from the start, which is what Noivq needs.
Step 3: Copy your key
Copy the new key. Keys made in 2026 usually start with AQ.; older ones start with AIza. Both work in Noivq.
Step 4: Paste it into Noivq
Open Noivq’s Setup page (the gear button at the top of the side panel) and go to AI connection. Choose Google Gemini, paste the key, press Save, then Test connection.
The key is stored only in your browser and sent only to Google Gemini. Noivq has no server that could see it.
